Private family celebrations such as christenings, birthday parties and anniversaries are at the heart of what we do here at Yew Lodge Country House. We are a family run business and pride ourselves on offering a ‘home from home’ for our guests.

For larger parties of up to 150 people, the contemporary Sycamore Suite is a perfect setting with space for a disco and dance floor, and we can tailor the function to suit you and your entertainment needs.

If you have in mind something smaller and more intimate for 20-50 people then our Oak Suite offers a collection of rooms including a reception room, dining room and conservatory opening out onto the garden. The style of the oak suite is in-keeping with the attractive period features of the house.

We have 10 acres of beautiful gardens, and an activity field, available for Garden Parties. We can arrange outdoor catering, such as a BBQ, and as all of our rooms open onto the grounds there is always a wet weather solution.
